None appears for the Petitioner. The learned Counsel appearing for the 2nd Respondent states that after the order dated 4 August 2017 was passed, one more inspection was 1 / 2 April 2, 2018

22-WP-2034-15.doc carried out by the Municipal Officers, when they found that the structure subject matter of this Petition was not in a declared slum, but it is on a private land. On instructions, she further states that necessary action shall be initiated by the Municipal Corporation in accordance with law for demolition of the structure.

We accept the aforesaid statement. To that extent, the order dated 4 August 2017 stands modified. 3.

Considering the limited prayer made in this Petition, the same need not be kept pending.

By accepting the aforesaid statements, we dispose of the Petition.
