The chamber summons is taken out by the Plaintiff to bring on record the Official Liquidator as a Liquidator of first Defendant -company. The first Defendant-company has already been wound up and Official Liquidator has been appointed as its liquidator. The Plaintiff has obtained leave under Section 446 of the Companies Act, 1956 to prosecute this suit. The Plaintiff now seeks to add the liquidator as a party. The chamber summons is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Amendment to be carried out within two weeks from today.
