The Foreign Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a male minor, Aahan. He was born on 25th August 2017. He was relinquished by his biological parents to the Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai City II a few days later on 31st August 2017. He was placed in safe custody of the Petitioner institution Bal Asha Trust on that date.

The Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai City II has, after following necessary procedures, declared the child legally free for adoption.

The undertaking / Affidavit of the Petitioner and the No Objection Certificate of CARA are on record.

The proposed adoptive parents are from Italy. They live in Calabro. They are both about 40 years old. They have been married for the last six years. They have no biological children of their own. 5.
The medical reports of the child are on record. He had skin pigmentation. This is being treated. He has a hearing loss and this is also being attended to. The adoptive parents have countersigned this report. The medical reports of the parents do not show any abnormalities or any adverse condition. The HIV reports are negative.

The adoptive father is Service Area Personnel with a company in Italy with gross salary for the year 2017 is Euro 14,070,00. The adoptive mother is a housewife. The other financial documents are on record. There is also a child care plan, that is satisfactory.

The home study report says that the adoptive parents are capable of providing the child with a safe, stable and nurturing environment. It recommends the adoption. The other documents are in order.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare who is unable to attend today, which is on record.

Having regard to these circumstances, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
10. The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
