Though several prayers are made in the writ petition, on the previous date of hearing, a statement was made that the Collector was not taking a decision in the matter after hearing the petitioner and the land of the petitioner was not measured by the concerned authorities in the 1/2

Since the petitioner requires the PR Card for processing the application made by him for grant of commencement certificate, by our interim orders, we had directed the Collector to take a decision. After hearing the petitioner a decision is taken and the correction is made in the entries pertaining to the area of the land. After the decision is rendered by the Collector, the petitioner only seeks a direction against the State and its authorities to issue the PR Card. Ms. Chavan, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 states on instructions from the officer who is present in the Court today that the PR Card (in words and figures) would be supplied to the petitioner within three weeks.

Since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed in view of the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction against the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to issue the PR Card (in words and figures) to the petitioner within three weeks and a direction to the corporation to process the application of the petitioner after the relevant documents including the PR Card is furnished to the Corporation within a reasonable time.
