Heard learned Counsel for parties.

By this Interim Application, the Applicant is seeking permission to amend the Testamentary Petition as per the schedule of amendment annexed at Exhibit B to the Interim Application. Consequently, amendment is sought in the grant of Succession Certificate dated 11th October, 2019 and for issuance of amended / 1/3

extended grant of succession certificate to the Applicant / Petitioner. 3.

I am satisfied with the averments in the Interim Application for the grant of relief sought for therein. The Applicant / Petitioner is seeking after grant amendment and which amendment is with regard to the name of the deceased to be added in cause title and paragraph 1 of the Petition by adding the words 'alias' before the said names and for change in the address as provided in the schedule of amendment at Exhibit B to the Interim Application. 4.

Hence the following order:- (i) The Applicant / Petitioner is permitted to amend the Testamentary Petition in accordance with the schedule of amendment at Exhibit B to the Interim Application. (ii) The Office is directed to amend the grant of Succession Certificate dated 11th October, 2019 in accordance with schedule of amendment and issue amended / extended grant of Succession Certificate to the Applicant / Petitioner.

(iii) Amendment shall be carried out within a period of three weeks from the date of this Order. Re-verification is dispensed with.
