1] This petition is filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short called as, "the Act"), whereby the petitioner prays for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal to conclude the arbitral proceeding and to publish an award.

2] It is informed that the respondents are served. However, none appears for the respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the oral evidence of the respondents is in progress.

3] Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perusal of the averments as made in the petition, in my opinion, in the interest of justice the mandate of arbitral tribunal is extended for a period of six months from today.
