The Petition is for leave under Clause XII of the Letters Patent in respect of a Suit for damages in defamation. The defamatory articles was published on an online portal which was accessible at any place. The Petition itself says that the article was accessed in Mumbai. The law in this regard is settled. This Court would have jurisdiction even without leave since the article was circulated and accessible in Mumbai. There is no need for leave. This Court has jurisdiction to entertain and try the suit. 2.

The Petition is disposed of in these terms.
