At the outset, Mr. Naidu, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that at this stage he would be satisfied if Respondent No.3 - Commissioner of MCGM is directed to decide / dispose of the Petitioner's complaint dated 23rd March 2016 [copy of which is annexed at Exhibit "H-1", page No. 109 to the petition]. Mr. Dhond, learned senior counsel for Respondent No. 4 states that his client has no objection to dispose of this writ petition in these terms. 2.

In view of the above, we deem it convenient to dispose of this writ petition by directing Respondent No.3 / the competent officer appointed by him to decide / dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 23rd March 2016 (Exhibit- "H-1"), as expeditiously patilsr 1 / 2

as possible and preferably within the period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 3.

The said representation shall be decided independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law. Of course, all concerned shall be given hearing before arriving at any decision. Parties are at liberty to furnish supporting documents to Respondent No.3.

This order shall not be construed as an expression of any opinion on merits of the matter. All points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
