This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, "the Act") whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of one month for the arbitral proceedings to be disposed of. It is stated that the final arguments of both the parties have been concluded and the proceedings are closed for publishing an award on 30 March, 2022. The mandate of the arbitral tribunal is stated to be expired on 30 May, 2022.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by three months from today. 3.

The petition is accordingly allowed in the aforesaid terms. 4.

Disposed of. No costs.
