This appeal is filed by the assessee to challenge the order passed by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal ("the Tribunal" for short) refusing to rectify the judgment earlier passed in appeal before it. Counsel for the appellant sought permission to withdraw the appeal for filing writ petition challenging the order of the Tribunal, which is impugned in this appeal or to file an independent appeal against the original judgment of the Tribunal, as may be advised. Permission as prayed for is granted. 2.

The appeal is disposed of as withdrawn.
