By this interim application, the petitioners seek amendment to various averments and grounds raised in the petition and seek to add additional prayers and documents. The writ petition is not yet admitted. We are thus inclined to allow this interim application. It is made clear that merely because the amendment is permitted as prayed in the interim application, the respondents are 1/2

912-ia2138-21.doc not deemed to have been admitted. The interim application is accordingly allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). The amendment shall be carried out within two weeks from today. The amendment shall also be carried out in the copies supplied to the respondents simultaneously. The respondents would be at liberty to file additional affidavit in reply to the amended portion of the writ petition. 2.

The interim application is disposed off.
