Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has placed on record a letter dated 22/08/2016 addressed by the University of Mumbai to the Principal of the College i.e. respondents No. 5 & 6. He submits that in view of this letter, petitioner has instructed him to withdraw this Petition. He, however, made a prayer that the respondents No. 5 & 6 - College be directed to act upon the letter of the Deputy Registrar of University dated 22/08/2016 as expeditiously as 1/2

Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents No. 5 & 6 submits that no sooner than this Petition will be withdrawn by the petitioner, immediately, the compliance in regard to the claim of the petitioner regarding post retirement benefits will be considered and amount will be disbursed to the petitioner as per his entitlement.

By recording the aforesaid statement, we dispose of this Petition. We hope and trust that the respondents No. 5 & 6 - College will release the benefits as aforesaid to the petitioner within a period of 2 months from today. Writ Petition stands withdrawn.
