CORAM: G.S. PATEL, J DATED:
20th December 2016 PC:- 1.
The Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Rani, born on 3rd August 2010. She was brought by the Dadar Police before the Child Welfare Committee on 29th July 2015. Self custody was given to Bal Asha Trust on that day. The minor has since been declared free for adoption. The necessary documents are on record. 20th December 2016

The proposed adopters are Belgian nationals aged 50 and 43 years. The 1st Petitioner has a daughter named Clara from his previous relationship. She is today about 19 years old. 3.
The HIV and health reports of the parents are in order. The father works in an advertising company and has monthly gross salary of nearly Euro 3000. The adoptive mother is self-employed as the manager of her own advertising company and her monthly salary is Euro 3250/-. The financial and tax documents are in order as is the home study report. The child care arrangement plan says that the mother works for her own company that operates out of her own home. The father also works for that company. They will therefore be available to look after the child without difficulty. 4.
The HIV report of the minor is pending. Mr. Kapoor tenders this in a compilation, which is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. There is also the child care plan in this compilation and the clarification that Clara was not born from a previous marriage but from the adoptive father's previous relationship. The HIV report of the minor is non-reactive. The scrutiny report of Mr. Hareendran is taken on record and marked "X1" for identification.
5.
In view of this, the adoption Petition is allowed and the Judge's Order is separately signed.
