CORAM : B.R.GAVAI & B.P.COLABAWALLA, JJ.

JANUARY 04, 2018.

P.C. :

The Petitioner challenges the selection of Respondent No.2 for internship in Respondent No.1 College. It is the contention of the Petitioner that though the Petitioner obtained more marks, Respondent No.2 is admitted on the third seat for Internship in the category of students from other university.

922.wpl.2407.2017.doc In the reply filed on behalf of Respondent No.1 it is stated that insofar as the grant of third seat from other university quota to Respondent No.2 is concerned, Respondent No.2 was selected on humanitarian ground for loss of both parents.

Apart from that, perusal of the reply filed on behalf of the Respondents itself would reveal that, the Petitioner has already been granted internship in some other college. In that view of the matter, no case is made for exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The Petition is, therefore, rejected. ( B. P.
