Perused the affidavit dated 03.03.2017 of Mr. Sahasranaman Subbaraman Murthi. In paragraph 1, it is stated that he has filed the Petition for Letters of Administration without Will in respect of certain properties and credits of S. Vaidyanathan @ Vydianathan Subbaraman (for short 'deceased') in this Court. In Schedule No.1 at item No.3, he has disclosed as asset being Locker No.1089-C with Dena Bank, Maheshwari Udayan Branch, Mumbai 400 019 held jointly by the deceased along with Mr. P. S. Subbaraman (deceased father) and Ms Leela Bhagirathi @ Leela B. Subbaraman (deceased sister), who died spinster. The contents of the locker are not known to him. The deceased was the brother of the petitioner. He is the only surviving legal heir of the deceased. Deceased has left no Will.

In paragraph 4, he has stated that he has to make inventory of the said locker standing jointly in the name of the deceased along with Mr. P. S. Subbaraman (deceased father) and Ms Leela Bhagirathi @ Leela B. Subbaraman (deceased sister) and to show the contents therein as item No.3 of the Schedule No.1. Reference is made to the letter issued by Dena Bank certifying that the said locker is jointly held by the deceased along with Mr. P. S. Subbaraman (deceased father) and Ms Leela Bhagirathi @ Leela B. Subbaraman (deceased sister).

Subbaraman (deceased sister) in the presence of Officer in charge of the said Bank, officer of this Court, petitioner and Advocate for the petitioner and authorized valuer, who will value the contents therein and keep the articles in the said locker. 2.

In view thereof, permission is accordingly granted. Judge's order is separately signed.
