The present petition challenges an order passed by the Slum Tribunal in an appeal filed by Respondent No.9. By the impugned order, the Slum Tribunal condoned the delay in filing the appeal. After the delay was condoned, the appeal was finally heard by the Slum Tribunal and dismissed. In view of the disposal of the appeal, nothing survives in the present writ petition. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. It is clarified that in case the Slum Tribunal's order dismissing the appeal is carried further by Respondent No.9, the Petitioners herein will be within their right to contest the miscellaneous order of the Slum Tribunal condoning the delay in filing of the appeal.
