This is a petition fled under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of time by six months to enable the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is submitted that, petitioner's evidence is over and last witness of the respondents would be examined.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the respondent has no objection as informed to the petitioner by the respondent by an e-mail dated 26th August, 2018. 3.

Having perused the averments in the petition, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish an award is required to be extended. Accordingly, the petition is granted in terms of prayer clause (a). Ordered accordingly.
