Heard Mr. Deokar, learned Counsel for applicants. 2.
Mr. Deokar invited my attention to the order dated 23.01.2008 passed by this Court in Guardianship Petition No.108 of 2007. By that order, petitioner was appointed as guardian of the two minor girls whose mother and father expired on 17.09.2002 and 06.04.2002 respectively. The petitioner was appointed as guardian of the two minor children till they attain the age of majority. The authorities, banks and persons who were in possession / custody of the dues of the deceased parents of the minor children were directed to to deposit the amounts either in lumpsum or from time to time as the case may be with the Accounts Officer of this Court.
The Accounts officer was directed to invest the same in fixed deposit of nationalized bank initially for a period of three years and thereafter for like periods of three years each till the minor children reach the age of majority. The petitioner was entitled to interest on the said investments which was to be utilized for the welfare of the minor children. Mr. Deokar invited my attention to the certificates dated 01.08.2017 issued by the Accounts Office, High Court, Bombay certifying that - (I) amount of Rs.3,00,620.
JOT186_17.sxw Bank of India, Churchgate Branch Rs.78,970/-, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Fort Branch Rs.93,000/-, Bank of India, Churchgate Branch Rs.4649.92/-, Bank of India, Churchgate Branch Rs.50,000/-, Punjab National Bank, PNB House Rs.6,250/-, Union Bank of India, Bazargate Branch Rs.67,751/-) and (II) amount of Rs.3,01,521.68/- (with Bank of India, Churchgate Branch Rs.78,970/-, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Fort Branch Rs.93,000/-, Bank of India, Churchgate Branch Rs.4648.68/-, Bank of India, Churchgate Branch Rs.50,000/-, Punjab National Bank, PNB House Rs.6,250/-, Union Bank of India, Bazargate Branch Rs.68,653/-) are standing to the credit of Ms Shivani Anant Pawar and Ms Shefali Anant Pawar respectively.

He has also invited my attention to the joint affidavit dated 08.08.2017 of the petitioner and applicants herein, and in particular paragraph 6 thereof. He submitted that Shivani was born on 27.02.1995 and Shefali was born on 25.11.1996 and both have completed 18 years and have become major.

In view thereof, the amounts so invested shall be made over to Shivani and Shefali as per the certificates dated 01.08.2017 bearing Causes No.15415 and 15416 along with the accrued interest, if any. Judge's Order is separately signed.
