In these proceedings by order dated 22/9/2021, documents in a sealed envelope were called from the office of the Registrar of Firms and the parties were permitted to inspect the same. Thereafter, it was directed that the documents shall be kept in the custody of this Court. Parties have gone into arbitration and the proceedings are pending.

A joint praecipe has been moved by the parties seeking reinspection of the aforesaid documents lying in the custody of this Court, in the light of certain contentions raised before the learned arbitrator.

The Master and Assistant Prothonotary (Judicial) of this Court has also moved an office submission seeking directions as to whether the Advocates for the parties can be allowed to take inspection of the documents and thereafter, can a direction be issued for sending the aforesaid documents back to the office of the Registrar of Firms.

This Court is of the opinion that the course of action suggested by the Master and Assistant Prothonotary (Judicial) of this Court can be accepted. Accordingly, the Advocates for the respective parties are permitted to take inspection of the said documents tomorrow (6/10/2023) at 4.00 p.m.

Thereafter, the said documents shall be sent back to the office of the Registrar of Firms within one week. 6.
No further orders are necessary.
