In fact it cannot be accepted. The Sub-Registrar in Panaji Goa, in response to the Petitioner's application for mutation in revenue records of a property said to have belonged to the deceased, directed that a legal heirship certificate be obtained by the Petitioner from this Court. The deceased admittedly died not in Mumbai but in Vashi. Irrespective of what the Sub-Registrar at Panaji has to say, I do not see how this Court has jurisdiction, since neither the property nor the last place of residence nor the death of the deceased are or were in Mumbai.

The Petition rejected with liberty to the Petitioner to approach an appropriate Court having jurisdiction. (G. S. PATEL, J.)
