This petition under section 29-A of the Arbitration & Conciliation (Amendment) Act, 2015 seeks extension of time to complete the reference. The only contesting respondent is represented today through counsel. Learned Advocate for the respondent undertakes to file vakalatnama within one week. It is stated across the bar by both counsel recording of evidence has been completed. Arguments has also been completed and what remains is the making of the award. In the circumstances, they seek time to enable the arbitrator to make the award. In view of the above, I pass the following order.

(i) Time to make the award is extended by two months on the condition that no further extension will be sought by either party. (ii) Petition disposed of in the above terms.
