The Petition was accepted on 21st November 2017 (SC Gupte J), when the proclamation was dispensed with. 2.
The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Kajanna Sukanppa Kunchikorve, who is said to have died intestate in Mumbai, where he was ordinarily resident, on 3rd May 2009. A copy of his death certificate is annexed.

The deceased was survived by his mother, widow, one son and two married daughters. Their names are mentioned in the tabulation below paragraph 4 of the petition. 2nd February 2018

The Legal Heirship Certificate is required for the Petitioner to seek employment with MCGM on compassionate ground. 5.
The Petitioner is the son of the deceased. The other heirs have granted consent. No other Petition for a heirship certificate, succession certificate, probate or letters of administration with or without will annexed has been filed.

There is no impediment to the grant of relief. 7.
The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) in favour of the persons mentioned in the table below paragraph 4, namely, Mrs Saiful Kajanna Kunchikorve, Mrs Malkavva Sukanppa Kunchikorve, Mrs Yallamma Kajanna Kunchikorve, Ms Alisha Kajanna Kunchikorve and Ms Yasika Kajanna Kunchikorve. 8.
All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order. 9.
