On 3rd May 2016, the defendant was granted unconditional leave to defendant by depositing a sum of Rs.8 crores within six weeks. On 27th June 2016, the defendant was present in Court and the Court was informed that the defendant will either deposit the amount or convince the plaintiff with an acceptable offer of settlement. More than three months have passed since then, the defendant has not deposited the amount and the matter is also not settled. Therefore, the plaintiff is entitled to decree. The suit stands decreed.
Decree be drawn up accordingly.
