By this application, the applicant seeks amendment of the petition filed for grant of Letters of Administration. It is stated that the original petitioner was the grandson of the deceased. During the pendency of the petition, the original petitioner expired. Copy of the death certificate is annexed, which shows that he died on 09th May, 2021.

The applicant is the brother of the original petitioner and he desires to be added as a petitioner and the name of the original petitioner is to be deleted.

The proposed amendment is given in Exhibit "B" to the present application.

In the light of the material placed on record, the application is allowed in the interest of justice, in terms of prayer clause (a).

The consequential amendment be carried out within two weeks from today.
