The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a male minor, Bhargav. He was born on 13th March 2018. He was admitted to the Petitioner institution on 23rd March 2018 as per the order of Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai City II dated 23rd March 2018. His biological mother executed a Deed of Surrender before the Child Welfare Committee on 28th March 2018. 2.

Bhargav has since been declared legally free for adoption, following necessary procedures.

The minutes of the Adoption Committee and the Affidavit of the Petitioner. The motivation letter from the proposed parents, the decision of the Adoption Committee and the Affidavit of the Chief Functionary of the Petitioner are all on record. 4.

The adoptive parents live in Tamil Nadu. They are presently in Arunachal Pradesh. They are 47 and 40 years respectively. They have been married for the past 20 years since 16th September 1998. They have no children of their own.

The health reports of the minor and the adoptive parents show no abnormalities.

The adoptive father works with Indian Army since 2003. His monthly gross salary is Rs. 66,001/-. The adoptive mother is a home maker.

The assessment report by the social worker dated 11th September 2016 is positive and recommends the adoption. There is a child security undertaking dated 17th July 2018 by the cousins of the adoptive parents. They agree and undertake to look after the minor should the need arise.

The documents being in order, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed.

I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare, which is on record.

10. The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
