Having heard Mr. Singh at length, but finding that we are unable to accept his contentions, for the reasons recorded separately, we pass the following order:- (i) The writ petition is dismissed. Rule is discharged. There would be no order as to costs.

502-WPL.2728.2018+.doc (ii) The mop up round, if any, to be held in terms of the rules, shall strictly abide by the clauses and paragraphs of the information brochure of preference system for admission to Health Science Courses in the State Government/Corporation or private colleges, issued by the Directorate, Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai.

(iii) We direct that nothing beyond that is permitted by these rules and based on the understanding of the petitioners of a revised schedule for on-line counsellings in the All India Quta should be resorted to by the authorities.
