Today the learned Counsel for the respondent has submitted an application for issuance of summons to Dr. Manojkumar Sharma, the then Superintendent of Police, Kolhapur to examine him as a witness for the respondent in the present case.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner upon instructions submits that he has no objections for summoning Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma as Talwalkar

Learned Counsel Mr. Rao has submitted that on 15/9/2014 the respondent herein had filed an application to the District Superintendent of Police, Kolhapur seeking information of all the cases registered against him at various police stations and the list of the cases registered against the respondent were given by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma. It is seen from Exh. B that most of the offences to which there is reference in the election petition find place in the list. According to Mr. Rao, some of the offences are not enlisted and therefore, he has requested that Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma be examined as Court witness. With the consent of the parties, the application stands allowed and disposed of accordingly.

Petition be listed on 23/8/2018 for direction. Office to accept the application.
