The petitioner carries on business in the name and style of "Durga Bhavan (Restaurant and Bar). By the order dated 14th July, 2015, the licence issued to her described as "premises licence", was suspended for the period of 15 days for breach of Rules for licencing and controlling place of Public amusement (other than cinema) and performance for Public Amusement including Melas and Tamashas), 1960. The rules provide for an appeal to the Government of Maharashtra to challenge the order to be filed within a period of 30 days. The petitioner was served with the order on 18th July, 2015 and she preferred the appeal on the very day along with an application for interim stay of the order of suspension. The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that neither the

ssk WPL No.2409/2015-19/8/15 application for interim stay nor the appeal is heard by the appellate authority, the Government of Maharashtra.

Mr. Mehta, the learned advocate for the respondents, on instructions from the officer of the respondent who is present in the Court, makes a statement that the Government will dispose of the appeal within a period of 8 weeks from today. The statement is recorded and the petition is disposed of in terms of the statement. There shall be interim stay of the order dated 14th July, 2015 for the period of 8 weeks from today or until the date of disposal of the appeal by the State Government, whichever is earlier. [Smt. R.
