Mr. Ramamurthy, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that in view of the Government Resolution dated 19th April 2022 the Petitioner is entitled for the relevant pay-scale from 1st October 2007. Now, the only question would remain for the period from 1st February 2006 to 1st October 2007.

In view of the fact that the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed from 1st October 2007 onwards, the question is only of the pay-scale for the period from 1st February 2006 to 1st October 2007. It would be appropriate if the Respondent No.1 considers to
Pallavi 40-wp-2793-2016.doc grant of benefit to the Petitioner notionally for a period from 1st February 2006 to 1st October 2007. The Petitioner may make a representation to that effect with the Respondent No.1. The Respondent No.1 shall take a decision on the representation on its own merits preferably within three months.

With the aforesaid directions, Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
