The Guardianship Petition was disposed of by an order dated 18 August 2000. The flat standing in the name of the deceased mother of the minor was sold in pursuance thereof and the amount of sale proceeds was invested as stated in paragraph-2 of the affidavit in support of the Judge's Order. The minor has now become major. Her birth certificate is produced with the affidavit in support of the Judge's Order. The Accounts Department has issued a certificate of balance dated 4 September 2017. The same is also produced with the affidavit. The Applicant, who has now attained majority, prays for an order of handing over of the fixed deposit receipts and cash balance to the credit of her account to her. The application is allowed. A separate Judge's Order is signed in this behalf. (S.C. GUPTE, J.)
