The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Lalita Madhukar Telang, who is said to have died intestate on 10th June 2006 in Mumbai, where she was ordinarily resident. A copy of her death certificate is annexed. The deceased was survived by her three sons. Their names are mentioned in the tabulation below paragraph 4 of the petition. One of the sons is the Petitioner. 2.

The Legal Heirship Certificate is required for the purposes of recording the name of the Petitioner and other legal heirs of the deceased in 7/12 extract and for mutation entry in respect of some immovable properties.

The other two sons have filed Consent Affidavits. Hence, proclamation was dispensed with by an order dated 6th October 2015. No other Petition for a heirship certificate, succession certificate, probate or letters of administration with or without will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) in favour of the persons mentioned in the table below paragraph 4, namely, Deepak Madhukar Telang, Girish Madhukar Telang and Prakash Madhukar Telang.
