The Petitioners have approached this Court for a direction to the Respondents to refund the amount of stamp duty which the Petitioners had paid. It is the contention of the Sharayu.

16-WP-2271-15.doc Petitioner that since transaction did not go through, the Petitioners are entitled for refund of that amount. 2.

We fail to understand as to why an amount is not refunded for more than a period of five years. The application has been filed way back on 27 July 2012. We are informed that hearing is fixed by Respondent No. 2 on 25 July 2017. 3.

In that view of the matter, we direct Respondent No. 2 to decide the application filed by the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of three months from today.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
