IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

Mr. O. Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of ICSW.
CORAM: G.S. PATEL, J DATED:
5th October 2016 PC:- 1.
Heard. I have seen the scrutiny report by Mr. Hareendran of ICSW. It is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. It reports that the adoption papers are in order. This relates to a female minor Subhadra born on 6th August 2015 (or about then). The accompanying documents are in order. The adoptive parents are of Indian extraction though both settled in United States. The 5th October 2016
908-FAP-64-2016.DOC adoptive father is American national. The adoptive mother is an Indian national. They reside in Illinois, USA and have been married for last 14 years. They have one biological son, Neel, who is today 7 1⁄2 years old.
2.
The financial documents, the child care plan and the home study report are all generally positive. The annual combined income is, in my view, sufficient. The father's base salary is US$ 173,000.00 and that of the mother is little over US$110,400. 3.
The child is reported to have been detected with an incident of sepsis on an undated physical examination report. The proposed adopters have countersigned this report. The HIV report of the minor is negative.
4.
In my view there is no reason to delay this Petition. 5.
The Petition is allowed and the Judge's Order is separately signed.
