Petitioner claims to be grand daughter of one late Maruti Kamble who according to the petitioner was lawful tenant of room no. 36, BDD Chawl, Building No.86, D.N. Wakrikar Marg, Worli, Mumbai 400 018.

According to the petitioners, her grand father had died on 5.1.2000. Thereafter claiming the allotment in her name, she had approached the Estate Officer of respondent no. 3. Thereupon, as directed by respondent no. 3, petitioner had submitted the documents in support of her claim. 3.

The grievance of the petitioners is that inspite of submitting all the relevant and necessary documents, no

hvn 25-wp-2496.2015.odt decision in regard to the petitioner's claim for transfer of tenancy rights in her favour has been taken by the Competent Authority/Manager, Mumbai Vikas Vibhag Chawls. 4.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, we dispose of this petition by directing the Competent Authority/Manager, Mumbai Vikas Vibhag Chawls as referred to in Exh. "R" to consider and take appropriate decision on the petitioner's application as expeditiously as possible but in any case not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

Needless to say that we have not gone into the merits of the petitioner's claim and her entitlement.
