In view of the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court in the case of Mehtab Laiq Ahmed Shaikh v/s. State of Maharashtra, 2017 (6) Bom.C.R. 706, which was rendered during the pendency of the Petition and which holds that section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 is not applicable to acquisition proceedings initiated under Sections 125 to 127 of the MRTP Act, learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the Petition with liberty to file a fresh Petition. 2.
