By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has impugned the order dated 1st November, 2018 passed by the respondent no.2 dismissing the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order passed by the Additional Collector ( E & R), Western Suburb under section 3-E of the Maharashtra Slum Areas, (Improvement, Clearance & Redevelopment) Act, 1971. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and have perused the orders passed by the authorities below. Admittedly the petitioner has not obtained any permission before purchasing the property in question. The provisions of section 3-E are thus rightly 1/2

The Grievance Redressal Committee has considered this aspect in great detail in the impugned order and has rightly dismissed the appeal preferred by the petitioner. I do not find any infirmity with the orders passed by the authorities below. The writ petition is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. (R.D.
