The impugned order has been passed in exercise of the power under section 50 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. It is rightly contended in the reply filed by the State that a remedy of preferring an appeal under section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 is available to the Petitioner. By keeping open the said remedy, the petition is disposed of. If the remedy is availed, the concerned authority is bound to note that the present petition was filed on 7th October, 2017 and the same remained pending in this Court till today.
