The petitioner has approached this Court challenging the order passed by the Learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate dated 3rd May, 2017. The ground raised in the petition is that, the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate does not have jurisdiction, inas much as, the words used are "the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate".

A petition raising a similar issue has already been admitted by us vide order dated 2nd August, 2017. 3.
Issue Rule. To be heard alongwith Civil Writ Petition No. 8384 of 2017.

Mr. Nedumpara, the Learned Counsel for the petitioner, states that, the petitioner does not insist for any interim relief. As such, we are not called upon to consider the prayer for interim reliefs as the petitioner himself does not press for the same. The Notice of Motion stands disposed off as such.
