This is a petition filed under Section 27 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, whereby the petitioner is praying for issuance of witness summons to Swan Alluminium Pvt. Ltd. for production of the original purchase order along copies of the invoices before the arbitral tribunal.

Having heard Mr. Kamat, learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the averment made in this petition, it is in the interest of justice that the witness summons be issued as prayed. The respondents Pg 1 of 2

The petition is accordingly allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). The witness summons be issued to the witness to remain present before the arbitral tribunal on 04 November 2019 at 11.00 a.m. on the following address:
