This is a petition is filed under Section 29A of the Act, whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal. Cross-examination of two witnesses of the petitioner has been concluded. 2.

On a perusal of the averments in the petition and having heard learned counsel for the parties, it is in the interest of justice that the mandate of the arbitral tribunal be finally extended for a period of 12 months from today ordered accordingly.

Learned Arbitrator shall make an endeavour to conclude the arbitral proceedings and pronounce the award within the extended period. 4.

It is directed that the parties shall co-operate in the early disposal of the arbitral proceedings.

Disposed of. No costs.
