This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of time for a period of six months, to enable the arbitral tribunal to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is submitted that the examination of respondent's witness is in progress. 2.

Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection for the prayers as made in the petition.

Having perused the averments in the petition, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish an award is required to be extended. Accordingly, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended upto 30 April 2020. 4.

Disposed of. No costs.
