This Judge's Order is taken out by the Applicant, for whose guardianship the Guardianship Petition is filed. The Applicant was a minor, aged 8 years when the Guardianship Petition was filed. By an order dated 06.02.2008 the Guardianship Petition was allowed by this Court. In pursuance of that order, the Accounts Officer, High Court, Bombay, holds cash balance and there are also fixed deposit receipts in different banks kept in the name of the minor Applicant. The Applicant and the original Petitioner have jointly filed an affidavit in support of the Judge's Order. A certificate of birth of the Applicant is produced with the joint affidavit. Also, produced with it the certificate of balance issued by the Accounts Officer, High Court, Bombay Aarti Palkar Pg 1 of 2

10.JO.230.17.doc certifying the cash balance as well as the various fixed deposit receipts kept with different banks. The Applicant has now attained majority, as is apparent from the birth certificate annexed as Exhibit 'A' to the joint affidavit in support of the Judge's Order. The Applicant, accordingly, seeks an order for handing over to him cash balance as well as the fixed deposit receipts, which are yet to mature for payment. The application is allowed. Accordingly, a separate Judge's Order is signed today.
