2023.08.07 19:02:55 +0530 India/Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) has tendered an Affidavit dated 29th July 2023, which is in compliance of the order dated 17th February 2023. By the said order, this Court had issued 1/2

3-FAP-41-19.doc directions and which have been reproduced at paragraph 3 of the subsequent order dated 20th April 2023.

The learned Counsel appearing for the UoI/CARA has further submitted that in compliance with the said orders, the Director Mr. Jagannath Pati is present today and has taken remedial measures including having Regulation of 2022 enacted as part of the Juvenile Justice Act with effect from 23rd September 2022. 3.

The Affidavit dated 29th July 2023 is taken on record. It is noted from Annexure A thereto that the order dated 16th December 2020 has been passed by this Court by which the minor child has now been given for Indian adoption and the name of the minor child is changed to Avira Anand Nair.

In view of the Affidavit of Mr. Jagannath Pati dated 29th July 2023, nothing remains in the Foreign Adoption Petition No. 41 of 2019 and the same is accordingly, disposed of. [R.I. CHAGLA J.] 2/2
