1] This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996; whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal, to enable the arbitral tribunal to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is submitted that the cross examination of the claimant's witness is in progress. 2] Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for the prayers as made in the petition. He makes statement that the respondent would cooperate in early disposal of the arbitral proceedings and unwarranted adjournments would not be sought. Statement is accepted. 1/2
