This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of time for a period of three months, to enable the arbitral tribunal to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is informed that the arbitral tribunal is now proceeding to publish an award. 2.

Having perused the averments in the petition, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish an award is required to be extended. Accordingly, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by a period of three months from today. The arbitral tribunal shall make an endeavour to conclude the arbitral proceedings.

Disposed of. No costs.
