This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of time for a period of six months from 13 October 2019, to enable the arbitral tribunal to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. It is informed that the affidavit of evidence has been filed. 2.

Having perused the averments in the petition, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish an award is required to be extended. Accordingly, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by a period of six months from 13 October 2019. The arbitral tribunal shall make an endeavour to conclude the arbitral proceedings.
