The Judge's order seeks handing over of a Fixed Deposit Receipt with accrued interest and cash balance held by the Accounts Officer. The application is made in pursuance of the grant of a succession certificate in favour of the Petitioner. The Petitioner is the widow of the deceased, Ramesh Vishnu Ughade. When the grant was made in her favour, the present Applicant, who is the daughter of the deceased and the Petitioner, was a minor. Accordingly, a fixed deposit was kept in her name towards her share in the property of the deceased. The Applicant has now become major and seeks an order for handing over of that Fixed Deposit Receipt along with accrued interest and cash balance held by the Accounts Officer. A Certificate of Balance issued by the Accounts Officer, High Court, Bombay along with the Birth Certificate of the Applicant is produced with the affidavit in support of the Judge's Order.
