After hearing the matter at some length, it is agreed between learned Counsel for all the parties that the matter can go back to the Grievance Committee for a fresh decision on merits in accordance with law. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of by setting aside the impugned order and remanding the matter to the Grievance Committee for deciding the matter afresh in accordance with law. It is made clear that the Grievance Committee has to decide the merits of the controversy whether or not there are identifiable trustees representing the management of the College, namely, People's Education Society. wp208-15.doc hearing the merits of the controversy, the Grievance Committee shall make its report to the Management Council in accordance with Section 57 of the Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994. The petition is disposed of accordingly. The Grievance Committee shall hear the matter and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of four months from today.
