This is a petition seeking leave under Clause XII of the Letters Patent. The proposed suit is a suit for partition of the joint family property. The respondents are residents of Mumbai. There are about 17 properties the details of which are set out in the plaint as also in paragraph 1 of the leave petition. Except properties at serial Nos.2 and 14 to 17, all the other properties are in the jurisdiction of this Court. In these circumstances, with leave of this Court being granted under Clause XII of the Letters Patent, this Court would have jurisdiction to try and entertain this suit. 2.
