Mr Karan Bhosale, learned Advocate of this court was appointed a sole arbitrator by an order dated 24th April 2018. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration on 24th April 2018. The arbitration proceeded before him. Parties initially agreed to an extension of six months. The extended mandate ended on 23rd October 2019. Hence, this petition.

Before the sole arbitrator, not only are pleadings complete but as Exhibit 'C' shows, only the cross-examination of RW1 is pending. All other witnesses have been examined fully. 19th November 2019

In this view of the matter, and since there is no delay caused which is attributable to either side nor to the arbitral tribunal, I will extend time until June 2020.

The petition is disposed of accordingly. There will be no order as to costs.
